Anonymous Full Time Employee (Current Employee) – Burbank, CA – January 15, 2014
Please read all the horrible reviews on glass door dot com. You will think twice about even applying here. Do not do it. Not even if you are desperate for a job. Many current and former employees will tell you that they would not work here even if it was the last job on earth. I hope this can save others the heartache and anxiety of dealing with this morally corrupt organization. This may sound like exaggeration, but I promise you that it is not.
Marketing Manager (Current Employee) – Burbank, CA – June 14, 2017
While work/life balance is great. Most in marketing (CRM) fear job loss due to the incompetence of the senior managers. Micro management is the norm along with unclear and unfair direction. Primarily because she does not understand strategy development, she can not get a handle on process and chooses to leave her employees out to dry.
Company doesn't seem to understand or care about the ineffective leadership abilities. Absolutely no training is offered to upper management, let alone middle management.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Burbank, CA – May 14, 2016
I loved my superiors (leads and supervisors) but they frequently found themselves enforcing ridiculous initiatives. Because the company attempts to pursue a trendy and flexible image, they are not able to pursue the company's best interests.
That said, this place is a great stepping stone but not somewhere where you'd pursue a career. I say this because there simply isn't mobility (unless you're willing to dedicate the best years of your life to dealing with angry customers and psychics).
Coworkers are FANTASTIC! Some strange people work there but overall, they manage to hire some of the nicest people I have ever met. Also, great diversity.
Hardest part of the job: Dealing with people who are addicted to psychic readings and expect to be treated like rational beings whilst behaving irrationally.
Best part of the job: Easy job with plenty of snacks and nice coworkers. Also, the office building is lovely.
