Working dialer to contact customer to collect on charged off credit card accounts. I learned the laws of collections through FDCPA. Learned to multitask, negotiate and problem solving. Management put their selves on our level to help and step in on calls as needed. Co-workers were like family. Everyone worked towards a team goal as well as assisting – more... others with individual goals. The hardest part of the job was dealing with customers that called in to set up payments after account was already set for garnishment.
