typical work day consists of repairing chassis on bad order , inspecting chassis, and refrigerated trailers. helping drivers with chassis problems is also a big part of the day, it helps the yard flow smoothly. every now and again csx will call for assistance with the chassis also that might be stuck near the tracks or that needed to be moved to the tracks. co workers are fun to be around for the most part. management has gotten better over the past few months we have recently earned safety. incentives every quarter, we also have insurance benefits with Aflac, sadly we do not have any dental insurance yet. we every now and then get the chance to travel to other yards to help out, like when hurricane sandy hit some employees got to travel to new jersey to repair and maintain some of the water damaged chassis. over all it is a good learning experience and work environment.
