Pacific Cheese was founded in 1970 by Ray and June Gaddis. We started as a cheese brokerage firm, representing major mid-western companies. Conducting business out of a small warehouse located in San Francisco, we started with five employees.
As the California dairy industry evolved and grew, so did Pacific Cheese. In order to continue providing value-added service to our customers, we transformed ourselves into a unique link between manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer. By moving into manufacturing, packaging, and direct importing, we've been able to supply a complete line of cheese, while delivering the value so critical to our clients.
Our clients cover all major sectors of the cheese industry, including food service, restaurant, retail, and industrial applications. The scope of their operations ranges from small independents to national branded marketers.
We are now one of the largest, privately-owned cheese companies in the West.
