A stable company that pays ok (not super competitive). They are trying to improve safety and efficiency, even if it doesn't always seem like it.
Some production associates end up working 10 hours a day, but most don't. Saturdays are only averaged to be 2 a month, although more during holidays.
High turn-over rate for plant managers, but at least corporate can let bad fish go. Had lots of back-and-forth policy changes. Co-workers are warm, although there are always a few new temps every month.
QA department stable. Hours are kept down to about 9 for everybody most days and Saturdays are even rotated. QA management mostly decent. The QA job is great for those new to QA, but if you're looking to move into R&D, your chances are slim; there isn't much of an R&D department. All higher QA lab jobs taken by employees with long tenure so it's pretty hard to even get promoted.
Perks include: yearly bonuses based on tenure (~$50 minimum, I think), employee appreciation includes a half day of work, various games, free catered food and raffled prizes for everyone who isn't a temp from $25 gift cards to 40 inch TVs. Holiday catered meal day in December.
