We are seeking an energetic and reliable professional to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant in a successful physical therapy office.
Applicants should have strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, be able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a multicultural environment. The ability to handle detailed, multi-stepped procedures is a must. Should be eager to learn and assume increasing responsibilities with an energetic and optimistic attitude towards change.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Meet and greet patients at check in and out
Operate main phone line to route incoming calls, take and distribute messages
Scheduling and Confirming appointments
Creating and entering patient information into Web PT scheduling system
Insurance benefit verification
Maintain and order general office supplies
Sort, distribute and organize mail and faxes
Scan patient information into Web PT
Collect and process patient payments at front desk into Quickbooks
Solid understanding of patient reception in a medical setting
Must be comfortable working with Apple applications and have the ability to learn new systems (Web PT, Heartland).
Must be comfortable working with Quickbooks
Must have a strong attention to detail
Must be flexible and friendly under pressure
Possess excellent phone demeanor
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to prioritize and organize assignments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to get duties completed efficiently
Flexibility in working with a variety of personalities
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work
