a very productive place
packaging (Former Employee), Grand Rapids, MI – May 16, 2013
Pros: nice breaks
A typical day at work was a lot of standing and working. It taught me how to us my hands, and package things faster. I enjoyed all my co-workers they had great attitudes. the hardest part of the job was getting enough mind power to stand there for four hours at a time but it still was a good experience. the best part of the job was actually doing the – more... job. – less

A Good Start
Distribution Clerk (Former Employee), New York, NY – May 1, 2013
To whom it may concern:
In January of 1984 I joined what I happily called the biggest Mom and Pop shop in the world. Even though Bristol-Myers was an international company I never felt I was alone in an uncompromising world. I was filled with pride to be part of such an important business.

Fast paced Enviroment
Box Maker/Sanatation (Former Employee), Ripon, WI – April 15, 2013
Pros: moving up to higher position
Cons: speed was ecertal
Box Making was keeping up with line.
Sanitation: Some times a team effort on some of the jobs but most was working on your own using time management and Safety on all lines to be cleaned for opening shift, I started on C crew and advanced to A rate, In which is tearing down washable parts to go to wash room and then re assembling enrobers clean belts – more... and floors, before shift end cleaning and sanitizing wash room, Here at ripon foods it is a family type business, and that is how the employees were treated I think all the employees Loved there jobs because there was always postings so the employees worked hard and believed in the company. The hardest part of the job was always working toward perfection in what you were doing. The funnest part was the interaction of the employees and reward system. – less

Packager
Packaging (Former Employee), Van Nuys, Ca – January 17, 2013
Pros: lots of over time
Cons: no headphones
Packaged merchandise, stamped boxes, and worked with orders as well. Filled up nail polish remover into bottles, helped cap nail polish, and then package them at the same time. I was able to do about 2 to 3 orders in one day with my partner. The more orders, the better the service is for the customer because of the speed.

Manufactoring and Production of Cabinetry. Building high quility cabinets.
Medallion Cabinetry (Former Employee), Independence, OR – January 12, 2013
Pros: having the experience building cabinets and working as a team player
Building cabinets, or Packing accessories, working as a team to build cabinets was hard work, its fun building cabinets but I really like to work in the packaging department, I ran the molding machine, and packing small accessories. My co-works were helpful and fun to work with. The hardest part of my job was building cabinets, because there was a certain – more... amount that needed to be built in an hour. What I like about my job was the fast pace, it made time fly. I like being busy all day. – less
