INSTRUCTOR SEASPORT DIVERS (Former Employee) –  Koloa, HIApril 3, 2017
This job works you into the ground, leaves you no free time to do anything productive in your life, does not pay well at all, and you get to work with the lowest achievers on the totem pole daily. However, you do get to swim with sharks and turtles when not actively herding cats underwater.
Pros
You get to dive
Cons
Pay, hours worked vs compensation, whiney customers, wears you down physically.

A typical day at work would be taking out new divers for certifications in sunny California, guiding them through kelp forests or bringing them on a ship wreck.

PADI offers a lot of perks for their employees, and the staff are pretty laid back, but very serious when need be, The PADI lifestyle is definitely that of a SCUBA diver, or active person.
Pros
Pool, gym, basketball, ping pong, in-house scuba training, great health benefits
Cons
Monetary compensation.

I love scuba diving and teaching others how they can help the ocean while scuba diving. I teach people the basic skills in order to know how to be certified to scuba dive.
