PSP has immediately openings for entry level Mechanical Engineers who can work with an experienced group of licensed professional engineers to prepare building mechanical plans and specifications. Design work includes cooling load and energy calculations, air system design, steam and hydronic system design, automatic temperature control design and coordination with plumbing and electrical. Experience will be gained in building codes, and sustainable and safety design standards. The successful candidate will be supervised and trained by some of the industry’s most gifted mechanical engineers and be supported at the highest levels of management for professional growth.
The successful candidate must have a passion for learning, an ability to work in a dynamic environment, be self-disciplined and offer a strong work ethic. PSP offers entry level engineers through a broad training program that puts the person well ahead of their peers. Candidates must have the following qualifications:
- Mechanical engineering degree from an ABET accredited college or university
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and achieved their EIT certification
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Exceptional planning skills
