Scan 1500-HCFA's into system, work through the errors that the program couldn't read. Process payment to providers if members were eligible and reject claims that work not payable.
Management was changed and the new managers were not interested in learning how and why processes were put into place. This made for a very unproductive work place and stressed out staff.
I really enjoyed working for the company until about the last year I was there. I look at it as a blessing that I was park of the downsizing due to many factors. I gained a ton of knowledge and I wouldn't of changed a thing.
