The HR/Payroll Specialist is responsible for payroll, timekeeping, and HR administration.
Experience is preferred but not required, we will train upon hire.
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION AND HUMAN RESOURCES
Timekeeping and Payroll
Applies professional concepts in analyzing and reviewing department payroll actions. Processes hourly and monthly payroll, payroll expense transfers, adjustments, late payments, stipends, and separation check requests.
Reviews monthly personnel authorization notifications for pay discrepancies. Works with departments to make corrections. Interprets pay policies (e.g., vacation, leave of absence, shift differential, disability, government regulations, withholding exemptions); troubleshoots and resolves issues.
