At PCC I wear a few different hats which gives me variety in my job. I especially like working with my clients. My daily prayer is that God allows me to be a blessing in someone's day and this job allows me to do that. I have learned that people generally needs support and encouragement from someone when they face difficulties in life such as loosing a job. My job allows me to do just that. I also work with inmates at the prison in my area, I administer the CRC test and facilitate high school college courses. The day-to-day contact with people makes my job all the more enjoyable. I also could not ask for a better boss, he's awesome. I also get along well with my co-worker.
What I don't like about my job is that it is part-time. In the beginning the part-time status was good for me because I had just had a baby and was nursing my child, so it allowed me the opportunity during the day to go home feed my baby and return to work. Then I returned to school to work on a Bachelor's degree which I completed in December 2014. Now that all of that is done I wish to go to a full-time status and it does not seem that it will happen here.
