I have been through 7 managers in less than 4 years. The level of arrogance from the managers makes them not easy to work with. The company is falling apart and they do not know how to fix it. This is the most negative work environment I have ever worked in. No one is happy here.

Panalpina was a great to work in the past but a lot of changes has come along and the company is functioning properly. There is no organization, lack of training, no work process and poor management.

I came into this company with high hopes. The pay was very low to begin with but they promised I would be compinsated with bonuses and raises. After a few years prooving my worth time and time again they have not delivered on their promises. They con you into working harder and longer. There is no work life balance. They hire managers with no experience therefor you are on your own. And if you fail because they can't help you they blame you.
There is minimal training yet they expect you to know everything.
There is extreme favoritism. If you are on the "naughty" list you will never get off.
They are not up to date on their systems. They are constantly changing procedures.
They do not advance their people but instead use the promise to advance to get more out of them with no end game. When you ask about your future there they say that you don't put in enough overtime to be considered but you get in trouble when you do have overtime.

Aprendi a Picar y Escanear, para mi no fue tan agradable porque hubo preferencias de parte de cierto jefe, en mi caso personal por ejemplo, me dieron un entrenamiento para scaneador de la mercaderia que se shippeaba, pero el jefe de area me saco para poner a su amigo del mismo pais, lo cual califico como recismo.

Fast paced & non stop work. The work over powers the employees however as there are not enough people to handle the daily volume. Management assists in the day to day but is almost always unavailable to help if needed.
