Credit Analyst (Former Employee), Elgin, ILAugust 9, 2014
I learned so much working at Panasonic. I really wish they wouldn't have downsized and moved across seas. I would have been a lifer at this company. Every day I came to work was exciting, challenging, problem solving, and hard. It was the best job I've ever had.

Present VP of taxes is very hard to work for
Assistant to Tax Officer/Senior Tax Manager (Former Employee), Newark, New JerseyJune 2, 2014
Present VP of taxes management style is horrendous. Turnover of the tax staff is very high. Recently he lost his two Senior Tax Managers who was with him for 12 plus years.. This is a place to beware. It will not advance your career..

New Leadership trying to work with old leaders
Senior Account Manager (Former Employee), Dublin OhioFebruary 19, 2014
Pros: good pay and benefit
Cons: management
Panasonic has a lot of potential but the communication flow from top to bottom and bottom to top is lacking. The day to day work and the amount of work is not understood by upper management, or they don't care. Panasonic is a large corporation when it benefits but most of the time each group is for itself. The new President seemed to identify many issues – more... that needed fixed but not a lot of action to date, and too many yes men surrounding. There is very much a CYA attitude, and keep to your own. – less

Program Manager (Current Employee), Knoxville, TNFebruary 4, 2014
Pros: good leadership and clear communication.
Cons: salaries are typically lower than automotive industry average.
Solid company with good working atmosphere. Co-workers are talented, and easy to work with. Management is somewhat autocratic, however can be open to input. Work-pace is usually hectic and compressed, but this is typical of most automotive industry environments.

Assembly line lead (Former Employee), Torrance, CAJanuary 1, 2014
Pros: physical labor
Cons: low pay
Ensuring merchandise packaging and shipment was fulfilled by employees under my supervision. Co-workers were very efficient and productive and Management ensured we had what we needed to complete our tasks in a timely manner. The hardest part of my job was not enough pay. Shipping, Q.C, Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Current Employee), Aurora, ILNovember 12, 2013
Pros: fun people to work with
Cons: short breaks, no benefits, late shifts
A typical day at work is very busy. I learned alot throughout the years from the warehouse to the office. I can basically be in any department and help others. My co-workers are like my second family we have a great bond and so much teamwork. The hardest part of the job is that there is no benefits and we do so much for low pay. The most enjoyable part – more... of the job is we sing and tell jokes to get through the day. – less
