Not fr Me
Shift leader (Current Employee), Whitman, MA – April 9, 2013
It wasn't bad at first, but there are a lot of goings on at papa gino's and operational guidelines that don't make sense. My District Manager is a cold person, who is stubborn. Customer Complaints are the worst, and I have fun with my co-workers but only after their work is done.

Everyone was friendly and professional.
Opener/Closer, Cashier (Former Employee), Beverly, MA – March 28, 2013
Pros: having great health and dental benefits.
Cons: had to pay a deposit on meals.
.Three people prepare food before opening the doors for the public. The manager for the work day gives me the empty deposit bags to get the money from the bank to use for the day. Learned how to cook my own meals for break or lunch. The management was professional everyday. Had gotten along well with all the co-workers everyday. The hardest part of – more... the job was getting everything done before opening the doors. Enjoyed being around people. – less

People were friendly giving their donations.
Opener/Closer, Cashier (Former Employee), Beverly, MA – March 28, 2013
Pros: talking with people.
Cons: had to buy or bring my own lunch.
Had worked alone three days a week for twenty-six hours. One week work Monday through Wednesday, and another week Thursday through Saturday. Either I or my partner would work two hours Monday morning. Learned how the donations are collected, and learned how to make out a donation receipt. I am my own supervisor. Get along well with my partner and the – more... driver that picks up the extra donations two to three times a week. The hardest part is picking up the donation on the ground that are soak from either the rain or snow. Love being around people. – less

Productive and fun place to work.
Facilities Lead Dispatcher (Former Employee), Dedham, MA – March 16, 2013
Anwser phone calls from resteraunt staff and troubleshoot issues wth any piece of equipment that is not running properly. input invoices and went over all of them to make sure they were correct. Get quotes from vendors for projects that were going to be happening. I learned somthing new everyday. My management was good. they would show you anything – more... and everythingyou needed to know or learn. the hardest part of the job was trying to figure something out that you had never troublshot before. the most enjoyable part of the job was feeling rewarded when you helped someone and saved the company some money and not having to send a vendor out to repair a piece of equipment. – less

Salon Assistant (Current Employee), Quincy, MA – January 20, 2013
Terrible company. Anyone that is not in a management position gets treated like robot, expected to do 3 employees jobs at once for one rate of pay which your only allowed $0.15 a yr for raises below managment.

minimum wage, not very secure
crew member (Current Employee), Brockton, MA – January 9, 2013
Pros: it's a job that pays
Cons: no advancement, no benefits, low quality management
Extremely stressful job even though you only make $8.00 an hour. It is extremely difficult for advancement and you have no job security what so ever.

Engaging and generally fun workplace, at times frustrating and tiring
Grill Cook/ Delivery Driver (Current Employee), Smithfield, RI – January 7, 2013
Pros: free or discounted food, flexible work schedule for while i was in school
Cons: little pay, occasionally too few hours
In a typical day I will make food, do dishes, and take orders, in addition to any other kind of daily maintenance work that is required of me. Generally there is no time for stopping except on break, but this keeps me busy which I enjoy. The hardest part of the job is keeping up with orders and working with all the other employees so that the business – more... works like a well-oiled machine and the customers leave satisfied. This requires maintaining good interpersonal skills regardless of my own mood or opinions of my co-workers at the time (which can both be quite variable over the course of any given day). The company has always been ready and willing to take me back after each of the breaks I have taken from them (for school, study abroad, etc.) and for that I'm grateful. – less

Delivery Shift Supervisor (Former Employee), Cohasset, MA – November 9, 2012
In the short time I was employed here I received two promotions from cashier/delivery driver to shift leader and from shift leader to Delivery Supervisor. My employment here was always temporary as I had recently graduated from my medical assistant/ phlebotomy school and was actively searching for employment in the medical field.

DRIVER/MAINTENANCE (Current Employee), Stoughton, MA – September 10, 2012
Pros: discount on food service
Cons: the salary
As a team player I would work on janitorial and appliance repair. I learned that every goal has to be met to ensure a higher level of professionalism in every task I exceed!I also would be a backup and made myself readily available to any repair/shift that needed prompt attention!I am very detailed and proficient in communication and in customer service.

Chief Justice Cushing Highway (Former Employee), Cohasset, MA – July 13, 2012
Cons: short breaks
Typical day at Papa Gino's during the day it was slow then at night it would get busy. I learned to take my time taking peoples orders and double checking. I loved the management team at Papa Gino's they made everything easy and helped you when you needed the help or didnt understand something. The co-workers were nice we would all help eachother out. – more... Hardest part would be when it got busy and wasnt a lot of staff to help out. – less

Good Part Time Job
Delivery Driver (Former Employee), Hudson, NH – April 16, 2012
Pros: friendly and easy work environment
Cons: wear and tear on your vehical and gas prices.
A typical day of work for a driver includes picking up phones, cleaning, washing dishes, helping others, occasional cashiering, and driving.
You can possibly learn how to make and prepare food.
Management is going under changes with new ones coming and going frequently.
The co-workers are young and sometimes hard to deal with.
The hardest part of the – more... job would have to be the down time where you know you could be driving and making tips.
The most enjoyable part of the job would have to be the ease of it. Its a really good part time job if your looking to put a little extra cash in your pocket. Its a great job for kids still in high school. It would have to be one of the best minimum wage jobs around because of the tips. But with gas prices going up the way they are the job is good to have for a limited time. – less
