Paragon Software (Smart Handheld Devices Division) is one of the European leading companies developing software for PDAs, mobile computers and smartphones based on all the most popular present-day platforms: Palm OS, Pocket PC/Windows CE, MS Smartphone CE, Symbian OS and others. Main development interests of the company are multilingual software dictionaries, – more... national localization technologies, software games and on-line handwriting recognition systems (PenReader). Localization systems and dictionaries developed by the company are chosen by a great number of distributors and resellers of PDAs and smartphones for preinstallation and bundling with devices sold in Russia, Eastern European countries as well as in a number of countries of Northern and Western Europe. At the end of 2001 Paragon decided to enter a new market. First Palm OS game by Paragon - AnotherBall classic Arcanoid - was released. During the first month of sales the game reached 7'th position in the world rating of Palm OS games. Observing such incredible success of this new product, Paragon decided to open new, fourth product line - games for PDAs and in particular for Palm OS. At the end of 2002 Paragon released another hit game - RifleSLUGs. Later the company released second edition - RifleSLUGs-II for Hi-Res screens. In June 2003 "One for All Solitaires collection" was released. This is the largest collection of Palm OS solitaires games with more than 200 different solitaires in small 500 kb package.
