Productive and performance driven employer that prides itself in providing the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Technology driven employer to ensure its employees have the tools and programs to be effective in their roles and competitive within the marketplace.
Was able to test new programs, systems, etc. directly – more... with personnel to trouble shoot issues and ensure systems successful implementation within the division. – less

Pros: good people work here. the employees are all nice to each other. hard work.
Cons: lunch is 30 min. med. ins plan is not good, no room for advancement unless your friends with the right ppl. great workers not recognized at all
This job pays well, but you deal with a lot of attitude from the current Management over F.A.'s. The employees are very nice but the management is over worked to the pt where they are not always nice to the employees. There is always alot of work and alot of pressure to meet productivity standards an quality assurance measurements or you will be written – more... up. – less

Pros: great benefits, great co-workers
Cons: not so many
HCA is growing and becoming a new, more involved entity. I have learned a lot from my work experience in the past (almost 20) years. Moving your cheese feels like an almost constantly changing happening. Many people have come and gone in the time I have been employed, some for the good of the company, and some we hate to say good-bye to. There really – more... is no hardest part of the job, as I feel any job enbraced usually turns out for the good. I have enjoyed all parts of the employment that I have been involved in. – less

A good company for me to get my professional life going.
Overpayment Analyst (Current Employee), Houston, TXFebruary 11, 2013
Pros: earned free lunches volunteering to help out around the building.
Cons: lunch breaks tend to be a little shorter than desired
This job has been my first full time position since graduating college. The atmosphere of the building is very relaxed yet hardworking. They have enjoyable perks like letting employees listen to music while they are at work and create many different opportunities for employees to win prizes like bonus money and additional time off from work. The job – more... creates challenges in trying to have multiple departments work together to resolve some difficult accounts. Communication is the key for all of the departments in the building to succeed. – less

Pros: good location, nice office building, close to home, nice lunch rooms
Cons: lack of communication between different management levels. and non exempt employees
I like my job responsibilities and have a good understanding of my job. I however find the enviroment hard to work in as there is very little support from management when trying to help a co-worker.
Co-workers do not show intrest in the planned activities and do not attend due to the production requirements are difficult to reach .

Most of my knowledge – more... comes from working indifferent departments over the 13 years. I am able to help new hires when advised to do so.

The hardest part of my job is I am not allowed to help co-workers unless I am instructed to do so. My job does not give me enough freedom to express new ideas to enhance the work enviroment .

I enjoy working and would like to find a more positive working enviroment. – less

The best thing about working here is the people I work with. The pay is not competitive, actually it's horrible. Management although very knowledegable, lacks good interpersonal skills.
