Volunteer Escort (Former Employee), Fort Wayne, INJanuary 19, 2015
Pros: energetic, lively, cheerful
Cons: no advancement
People are very cheerful and optimistic. Very laid back environment. Fast pace and rewarding to help out. Very lively. Wished there was some sort of schooling to get a license to actually work with the company instead of just a volunteer.

Productive ,Skillful work envirorment. Okay to work for
Phlebotomist (Former Employee), 400 West 16 thDecember 26, 2014
Pros: get to interact with patients and help in over all care.
Cons: lose some patients
I would go to work and obtain specimen from patients in the hospital. I drew blood all day from patients in the hospital. If needed I would go to traumas,OR and Cath lab to obtain specimens. Same day surgery would need specimens from patients going to surgery. The work environment was skillful and a positive setting. The co-workers were fun and professional. The most enjoyable part of my job was taking to the patients and knowing I did my part in helping them find out what is wrong with their health and guiding them in the right direction.

Loyalty
Housekeeper (Former Employee), Fort Wayne, INDecember 2, 2014
Pros: nice new building
Cons: no loyalty to employees
I worked there a total of 7.5 years, so I am impartial. Plus, I love the Cardiology group. However, loyalty only goes so far when you are not a physician or executive.

A good starting job
LPN (Former Employee), Fort Wayne, INMarch 26, 2014
Pros: patient interaction
Cons: short staffed
I enjoyed working in the hospital setting, but think they were understaffed on 3rd shift when they removed the CNA's from this shift. I learned a lot coming right out of school into this setting. They had a great training program before new employees were put to work with direct patient care. I enjoyed making a difference in the lives of my patients. There are too many incidents where the nurses are no longer compassionate about their job/patients. I enjoyed making a difference.

RN for Medical ICU (Former Employee), Fort Wayne, INMarch 12, 2014
Pros: utilized the newest technology available, and worked with some of the best docs in the area.
Cons: there were never enough nurses to go around
Staffing was always an issue at this hospital. The orientation process was a bit narrow for the complexity of the environment.

Security Officer (Current Employee), Fort Wayne, INSeptember 17, 2013
Working at Parkview is a whole different ball game. I work on second shift, which is typically the busiest shift of the day. We average around 5 to 10 patient watches a day and typically do not even get time to relax. We are constantly moving and constantly helping others. The benefits are amazing when it comes to healthcare and 401K.
