Productive and busy workplace. Moral not always the best. Overall teamwork is there. Corporate management taking over and just looking for quantity not quality. There should be a balance.

Management isnt all that great has way too many superiors and not enough hard workers. Customer service is not up to par with the demand therefore the rate at which they recieve new homes and keep them is not leveled.

Horrible Work Environment and Management
Pharmacist (Former Employee), Cranford, NJApril 4, 2015
Start shift way behind, given schedule, but more often then not working 3,4,5,etc hrs extra each day. Break many pharmacy and controlled substance laws, technicians make drug-drug, allergy, etc calls to facilities.
Co-workers were great!
VERY low morale.

pharmacy technician (Former Employee), Cranford, NJMarch 12, 2015
I returned unused medications into inventory. I learned how to package medications using cardboard boxes and blister sealing medications. Everyone there was really nice and supportive. There was nothing hard about my job because I enjoyed going to work there everyday.

Stressful, unrewarding, unreasonably demanding work environment
Pharmacy Technician/Coding Specialist (Former Employee), Cranford, NJJanuary 22, 2015
Pros: there are no pro's to working for a company such as this one.
Cons: unreasonable demands, constant threats of firing, incessant rounds of layoffs
A typical day at Partners Pharmacy would be coming in and being behind in the work for the morning delivery deadlines. The phones would often be ringing steadily with problems of incorrect or not received drug orders from the night before. You were expected to troubleshoot and fix these problems, catch up on the work that had not been done by the overnight staff, meet the morning delivery deadlines for coding, and make no mistakes while accomplishing these demanding tasks.

I learned that demanding more than can be reasonably expected from an employee puts all employees on shaky ground, giving management leverage over all employees, which will be used to demand pay cuts, shift changes, and job responsibility additions.

The management was merciless in generating leverage over their employees and using that leverage against the employee to better their bottom line. Reward for successfully meeting these demands was non-existant and only resulted in increasing the demands.

Many of my co-workers were fabulous people trying to make the best out of a bad situation. They came in early and stayed late, doing their best with minimal staff and frequent new, inexperienced employees due to staff turnover. They struggled admirably while losing skilled, experienced and good employees all for the short term goals of bettering company's profits.

The hardest part of the job was knowing that no matter the skill, dedication, or sacrifice you made for the company, the only determinant factor in your evaluation would be duration with the company and if they could replace you with another body willing to accept less money, regardless of competence.

Upper Management is a Good Old Boys Club
Staff pharmacist (Current Employee), VirginiaJanuary 17, 2015
Pros: the it dept rocks and will do anything for anyone even though there are only 3 of them!
Cons: long hours-sacrifice your family for this job-oh your marriage too-poor wages and benefits
Impossible to get rid of stagnant negativity with ineffective HR. Lazy, borderline comatose, pharmacists have jobs because upper management can't terminate the right people at the right time. Consequences of that are catastrophic-they will loose all their employees who are working 140+ hours a pay period and being paid for 80, that actually care a lot, probably too much, about making the pharmacy a better place to work. They want a change in culture but don't do anything to foster the change. They give someone a title without any of the power or authority behind it to make necessary and critical decisions regarding personnel etc. As if that weren't enough you are patronized on a minute to minute basis by male counterparts and male upper management. It is extremely frustrating and the glass ceiling is not only extra prevalent at this company but it it is so low that most women hit their head on it on a daily basis-->a constant reminder of the good old boys running the show with their scotch in their hands!

Administrative Receptionist (Current Employee), Cranford, NJDecember 3, 2014
Pros: corporate responsibilities, various projects
Cons: short lunches
A typical day at work consists of working on many of the fields the make up Partners. During the morning hours I do the job basics as a receptionist, but as the day persists I am asked to help with other projects. Some of these include organizing job postings, creating spread sheets for the account managers, and organizing mass mail outs.

Pros: you get a paycheck.
Cons: everything else about partners.
This place SUCKED. Very unprofessional. A lot of favoritism, a lot of drama. Very unorganized group of lazy people with VERY few hard working technicians, and one or two at most a pharmacist that actually work for their paycheck. Don't bother wasting your time filling out any paperwork.

Horrible place to work
Partners pharmacy / data entry (Current Employee), Marlborough, maApril 16, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: forced holidays, weekends, underpaid
First of all those two reviews posted recently about the Marlborough location is most likely fake! Anyone who works at this place will tell you how awful it is. The management at this facility is poor and unorganized. All this place cares about is how many orders you can process a day, then management puts you down when you don't processing so many orders and discusses it in front of everyone. This place is rundown and they are cheap! Not only is their pay horrible but just the overall work environment is uncomfortable and awful. The second shift supervisor is unprofessional, lazy, inconsiderate, and is on a big power trip. She will yell at you and talk trash about you in front of everyone. There is another second shift supervisor who has about seven cigarette breaks a day, and she also talks trash about other employees amongst other employees. Overall this place is not a place you would want to be working at if you want to work in a professional pharmacy.

Long Term Care 3rd party billing representative (Current Employee), Cranford, NJMarch 26, 2014
Pros: easy going
Cons: insurance
The 3rd party department at Partners Pharmacy is a great place to work. The supervisor and manager are both very easy going and accommodate to your personal life. The work is manageable, the environment is friendly, and the co-workers are overall friendly and easy to get along with. All in all this company is a great place to work if you enjoy the cubicle life.
