my typical day is long, i learned that that you must care fir each patients according to their needs. Management is fair. i do not work with coworkers side by side. that hardest part if my job is dealing with others who are not considerate of others feelings. Best part of my job is caring for those who cant really care fir themselves

High functioning nursing service
RN Field Supervisor (Current Employee), 1250 Broadway NYAugust 21, 2014
Pros: full benefits, free schedule
Cons: unpredictable load and schedule
Currently I work for Partners in Care (home health care agency) as RN Field Supervisor. This is an important area of public health. I’ve been with them for almost 4 years. My agency is a private pay division of VNS of New York. I see my coworkers every Tuesday on nursing meetings.
Majority of my patients are elderly and I understand how important for – more... them to get a lot of proper care and respect. I am always trying my best, ready and willing to help with honor and comprehension. One day I will reach their age and I would be desperate for such care and attention as well.
I am glad to be here but I am looking for indoor facility to improve my work experience and continue education. – less

Home Health Aide (Current Employee), New York, NYAugust 14, 2014
Pros: meeting new people
Cons: not enough hours
A typical day at work is helping patients become more independent. I have learned the true meaning of patience. The management is ok it depends on who is your supervisor. The hardest part of the job is trying to get hours for the week. The most enjoyable part is working with the patients and learning things from the past

Pros: learning how to work in different environments

- i worked one on one with individuals and received different management based on case
- i did not – more... find this job difficult though it did present a lot of traveling

Home Health Aide (Former Employee), New York, NYJuly 25, 2014
I enjoyed working with the clients, but the supervisors and management that i dealt with were rude and talked down to you. There were a few that was great to work with but a lot of them had attitudes and were lackadaisical.
