Climate Change Senior Officer (Current Employee) – Washington, DC – January 16, 2015
For Partners and for other organizations I have led the creation of new programs related to climate and energy. At Partners I created the Partners’ Climate and Energy Network, PCEN; I formulated the guidelines to the U.S Department of State to renew the ECPA Fellows Program’s second part. I developed the guidelines for the RFP (Request for Proposals) for small grants on climate and energy to be implemented in the Americas region, which I currently monitor.
I have reviewed proposals for USAID on resilient cities and agriculture based on the ground statistics, analytics and political priorities, which led to our Partners’ team—that leads the agriculture program—win a large USAID multi-million proposal to be implemented in the Dominican Republic in 2014. All this while keeping track of the public global environmental politics that delineate resource allocation.
