Like most sales jobs, there's a lot of cold calling, and canvassing. I was promised a good size territory, thousands of tools to sell, and a great paying job. All BS by the hiring manager. My territory was reduced to a 30 mile radius. The mark up to 75% of the tools were outrageous, and resulted in no sale. The threats were harsh on commission and were leveled on my salary. I met and exceeded monthly quotas, received bonuses plus an award for exceeding expectations for the first six months. You are left with selling trinkets for peanuts.
