Pros: healthcare, clean facilities; caferteria, restrooms, vacation time, and team sports.
Cons: temperature changes, from extremely cold, to extremely hot, hours worked, and traffic on the docks.
A typical day working at Patrick Cudahy was very exciting and interesting because of the various duties I had to perform. Sometimes, I had to go to another department to help out if they were behind. This was good because it provided additional valuable experience in other areas of production throughout the company.

– more... the importance in efficiency of time management towards deadlines. Also to take pride in making the highest quality products that represents the company name. I also learned to to work as a team and do more than just my specific job if qualified, even if not asked to do so.
The management was very accessable, fair and considerate of an indivdual's circumstances. Most of them were always encouraging.
Most of my co-workers were assertive, dependable, and hard dedicated workers who were greatful to be able to support their families.
The hardest part of the job was when someone did not take their job seriously and intentionally slacked off of the team concept.
The most enjoyable part of the job was when at the end of the day, you have accomplished the goal set in front of you as a team and you realize that your contribrution was recognized and appreciated. – less
