Carpenter / Handyman $16+/hr (JOCO)
Well established remodeler seeking a skilled carpenter / handyman for Exterior Work.
KC Metro Area- Residential (Exterior)
Possibility for year round, full time employment for the right person. $16+ per Hour.. (performance based). (W-2 w. E-Verify or Contract Opportunity)
Traits/skills you must have::
Must be able to communicate on a professional level with (affluent) homeowners.
Must be a problem solver and be able to work unsupervised.
Must have 2 Years prior Verifiable Employment Experience (and references) performing residential exterior carpentry (Framing, Window Installation, Deck Building, etc.), proficiencies in related trades (painting, roofing, sheetrock, etc. also helpful).
Must be proficient in installation & repair of wood or fiber-cement based siding, Decks, Trim, and windows/ doors. Must be able to demonstrate these proficiencies prior to hiring.
Must have excellent verifiable employment history, references, ethics, and safety record.
Must be able to work well with others, including hispanics.
Must have/maintain a professional image.
Must be Detail Oriented and be able to follow Written and Oral Instructions.
Must be ok with hard labor, working from ladders (15-40'), Kansas Sumer Heat, Kansas Winter Cold and long hours. (90% Of Our Work is Exterior, At Least 50% of this work is performed off of extension ladders)
Must have a cell phone, transportation and email access.
Must be DRUG and "Drama" Free. (Drug Test, Background & Credit Check a must).
Must have an excellent work ethic (40-50+ hrs/wk), good "can do / no excuses" attitude, and the desire to please even the most particular clients.
