Receptionist, Pasadena, TX - September 10, 2014
It was a very busy office. I was Dr. Schnell's receptionist. Even though I would arrive early, sometimes patients were already there hoping to be worked in because they were ill. My job was to check them in and get the charts ready. This involved updating personal information, such as, address and phone numbers, verifying insurance coverage and having it documented in the chart for the doctor to view as needed. Answering the phone, making appointments, Taking messages for the doctor and nurse. Copying information, faxing and anything else that was needed.
