Configuration Specialist (Former Employee) – Minneapolis – September 5, 2013
PDI focused most of its development attention on its consultants, which makes sense because of the nature of the business, but was sad for the rest of us. It has now been acquired by Korn Ferry, which seems to have a history of making decisions based on its perceived bottom line, without much understanding of our business operations. It also has a history of acting without attention to risk or damage to client relationships.
I worked with some great people around the world. I also had to deal with managers (happily, not my manager) who had been put in their position because it was assumed they knew the job they were to do. And they didn't.
The company in 2013 is in flux because of the corporate merger, and that makes it difficult to tell you what your experience might be like.
