The Foundation's mission is to raise "Raise money to enhance quality health care in the community of White Rock/South Surrey." The Foundation is a separate legal entity registered with BC Society and Canada Customs and Revenue Agency. Although hospital operating costs are covered, the government provides only a small percentage for capital – more... needs. Since the beginning of the Foundation, over 46 million dollars has been raised to provide equipment, facilities and services in the hospital.
