Arrive at work a half hour before the office doors open, perform opeining duties such as; checking the office email, listening and returning all voicemails, checking the schedule and preparing all patient charts for the day. Once the patients begin to arrive the pace is non-stop until lunch. I am in charge of checking all patients in and out, scheduling appointments, making sure patients are following their treatment plans, collecting co-pays, collecting payment for any merchandise, answering the phones, checking and returning email and fax, keeping all documents printed and up to date, putting together new patient files, answering questions, and keeping the flow of the office on schedule. I have learned how to keep a smile on my face no matter how busy or hectic the day becomes. Most importantly I have learned how become a leader, multitask, answer questions for myself and make executive decisions. My manager has always encouraged me believed in my ablity to keep the office on schedule. Management is very understanding and always willing to communicate, they are very open about new ideas and hearing your thoughts and opinions. We all work very well as a team to provide exceptional costomer service, someone is always willing to help with anything that may need completed and there is never a lack of enthusiasm. The hardest part of my job is the long work hours. The hardest part of my job is the long work hours, I am there for 10-11 hours but only get paid for 7 or 8 due to our long lunch break in the middle of the day.
