Peninsula Window Fashions & Design in Menlo Park, CA has an immediate opening for a Design Assistant.
This is a part time entry-level position ideal for someone who seeks the opportunity to grow within the company. Design Assistant will be responsible for:
-Keeping showroom neat and organized
-Sourcing materials and creating specification sheets/schedules
-Coordinating purchases/deliveries through vendors
-Assisting Head Designers and Owner with project-related needs
-Assisting Operations Manager with project scheduling
And other tasks, as needed.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in the field of design, working directly with seasoned design professionals. Candidate should have an educational background in a creative field, a passion for design, the ability to manage multiple projects with precision, and a hands-on, can-do attitude. Recent interior design graduates are encouraged to apply.
