Pennhurst Staff will work in conjunction with the Certification Unit of your state and facility administration to assess and assist in developing licensing and certification survey strategies that will achieve positive survey outcomes. We can review any required plans of correction and prepare for the revisit in many ways such as to:
Identify how corrective action will be accomplished for those clients found to have been affected by the deficient practice. Describe how the facility will identify other residents having the potential to be affected by the same deficient practice. Explain measures to be put into place or systemic changes made to ensure that the deficient practice will not recur. Identify how the facility will monitor its corrective action to ensure the deficient practice is being corrected and will not recur; i.e., what program will be put into place to monitor the continued effectiveness of the systemic change.
Pennhurst is able to simply bring dozens of certified psychologists to your facility and produce hundreds of plans if required on a short "crisis" timeline. We prefer to have an opportunity to provide a system wide review of the current Behavioral Support Plans you have in place prior to any surveys so as to interface with existing psychology staff on a controlled basis.
Pennhurst is also available to provide interim or long term contract staffing of psychologists (including department chiefs) as well as submit for your review plans of departmental re-organization if required.
