Pros: employee discounts are the only good thing about this company.
Cons: low pay, no job security, poor healthcare coverage with high out of pocket costs, no work/life balance, no sick pay without fear of losing job, unrealistic work load, no room for advancement, no raises
The company operates by individual locations, that are shut down often. There is no guaranteed job placement when locations are shut down. Senior Operations Managers run each location, we had several in a three year period. Which meant different rules/procedures of running production each time there was a change in management. This lead to chaos management. Our last Senior Operations Manager was a joke and spent more time talking himself out of trouble instead of making sure the location was being run properly and efficiently, including making sure supervisors were doing what they were supposed to be doing.
No work/life balance. I was on call 24/7 even taking calls during my vacation time. The company has outdated policies and culture. Sick pay is not a benefit because points come with using sick time and you could be fired because of the point system used. They do not believe in working from home yet you are expected to answer your phone day or night and come in to work if you cannot solve a problem over the phone. We were often called in last minute during our off days to sub for other supervisors because the Senior Operations Manager forgot to cover the shift before hand. Raises are non existent and the pension plan offered is mediocre.
