Knowledge Management Intergrator, Kabul, Afghanistan - September 13, 2013
This is a small business that is very family owned. They are having all the issues most startups face. It is intensified by their disorganization and lack of compassion for employee's needs. While I was there we suffered an "accounting error". This error cost each employee around $5000.00 in pro-ported over payment. Management is primarily made up of friends of the owners most of which are prior service. These manager have no real world experience in management and treat employees like they have enlisted in the service. Many time reasons are given as "because I said so" or "shut up and color". This is no way to run a business. Travel arrangements are made by the owners wife. Even though there is more than three months between vacations many times employees wait for their tickets until the day before or the day of flying.
In short, this company will not be around in five years.
