Great work place for a Safety Coordinator. Safety Managers are will to help you with any Questions.
Pros: i get to interact with employees and help them from getting hurt.
Cons: you have to wait three consecutive without getting layed off before you can get your benefits.
I would get to work early to kept log of employee entering and leaving the contract gate. Then I would presented morning safety meeting before work to all of our employees and subcontractors. At
the end of the meeting I would gather all of the new hires and orientate them about the Plant & Company safety rules, policys and
proceedures. Next I would – more... hold a classroom & hands on training on equipment (ei.. JLG, Sissorlift), Confined Space Training, and Matabo Training. Next, I would conduct daily Safety Audits threw out the job site.Next, I would figure out what our daily job Force Report for the day. By mid day we would attended daily Management meetings with 3rd Party, Site Manager & Plant Mangers to go over any prodction or safety issues for that day. I would administer minor
First Aid to employees on site. We would then do a weekly account of our safety report to see where we need to address our finding for the week so we can better those areas. We would then talk with Site Managment to administer a daily and/or weekly safety incentive of our emplyees and subcontractors. – less
