If you are fortunate to work in a good division for a good director, you will enjoy your job. There are however divisions that need help and it can be rough on employees.
My position is a learning experience every single day - mostly about human nature. Fortunately I work in a department with a good support structure and where policies are enforced and everyone knows the rules.
The hardest part of the job is seeing others struggle within their administrative framework and having to keep quiet. There are divisions quite mismanaged where it's more like junior high school antics.
The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that you have made a positive effect on another's ability to serve a client or provide a better service.
