Pros: set my own work hours, limited supervision
Cons: no benefits, part time
Personal Touch is an interesting place to work. I work from my home and can get a lot of work done with little to no interruptions. The hardest part of my job is not being able to have a lot of face to face customer contact. I have learned the importance of time management and prioritizing my work loads.

The office is a well oiled machine
Branch Manager (Former Employee), Roselle Park, NJFebruary 28, 2014
Pros: going out and building the business
Cons: trying to fill jobs that the aides could not service.
As a Branch Manager, my responsibilities were to make sure that all Home Care patients were serviced by the companies' Certified Home Health Aides. Processing payroll for the field employees was part of my job description. Multi-taking was a must. My staff was very hands on regarding the day to day operations for the agency. The on-call duty for nights – more... and weekend were at times challenging. The rewards stemmed from a staff that helped each other to make sure all employees and patients were in compliance with state and company regulations. – less

How not to run a business
Repair Estimator/Office Assistant (Current Employee), Lawrenceburg, TNDecember 15, 2013
Pros: an hour for lunch.
Cons: unstructured environment, unprofessional upper management, lack of room for advancement
Arrive to work at 7:50am. Turn on the office computers and log into various programs, turn on radio system for the collision center and welding areas. Check company email for important messages. Touch base with management and body technicians for status changes on vehicles, possible arrivals and releasing of vehicles. Coordinate with suppliers on ordering – more... needed parts, scheduling returns of unneeded or defective parts. Inventory and distribution of parts deliveries. Liaison with customers regarding repair statuses and positioning with insurance companies. Sales, installation and troubleshooting car audio. All of these activities can and do occur randomly throughout my day. My typical day ends by shutting down the office computers, radio systems and turning out the office lights around 5:00pm. – less
