If there's no one else to cover your shift, and you're literally vomiting and contagious and can't make it in, you will get written up. The company has terrible policies and if you're scheduled to close, they will almost always keep you an hour after you're scheduled. If you're two minutes late, you will get written up. If you accidentally take the live animal keys out of the store, you will get written up. If a register you worked on, even if there were no transactions made, is short, you and everyone else on that register will get written up. Managers don't get written up and at least my manager belittles me and yells at me for the most insignificant things.
