Okay for an in-between job

I transferred from another Petco up here due to having to move and my familiarity and passion for this company drove me to stick with it. I was highly disappointed with this Petco, and experienced severe backlash for reporting cold cut cases of animal neglect. Needless to say, I wasn't very impressed. Management will not work with you when it comes to requesting days off or even hire you for that matter if you don't have complete open availability, making it exceptionally difficult for those with families. Your shifts may change, without notice. You are expected to do everything perfectly, and often cut corners that are against company policy, in order to do it in the time frame that they expect, and be subsequently reprimanded afterward for either taking too long or not doing a thorough enough job. Coworkers were all burnt out, but friendly. The only enjoyable part of this job are the customers and their pets.
