MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A PACKAGING ENVIRONMENT IN A MANUFACTURING FACILITY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day to day functions of the PAI packaging operation by:
Assuring that all of the packaging colleagues are operating in a safe, compliant and efficient manner.
Coordinating the colleague resource with the packaging demand that facilitates a compliant and timely completion of packaging activities.
Acting as a technical advisor and collaborating with other packaging support groups such as: Maintenance, manufacturing, engineering, validation, HR, QA/QC.
Being responsible for the cGMP training of each colleague and assuring that the proper documentation is completed and filed for each employee. Scheduling employees as their training and skill set dictates.
Tracking and managing packaging run time along with line and lot changeover times. Setting standards for each and look for innovative ways to reduce and support a more efficient operational environment.
Being present on the production floor to review batch documentation in real time, while providing coaching and feedback as needed.
Investigating, documenting and resolving packaging deviations by performing in depth root cause analysis resulting in long-term sustainable CAPA's.
Mentoring and coaching packaging support staff by clearly communicating organizational objectives, progress and metrics.
Generating yearly performance reviews aligned with PAI's operational metrics and accountability standardsd for its colleagues. Provide disciplinary actions and employee feedback a necessary to strenthen the organization.
Auditing/Revising/Writing SOP's to ensure written procedures are present and sufficiently detail the packaging processes.
Bachelor's degree in Science or Business. Other degrees such as an associate's degree with significant experience would be considered.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong, demonstrated experience with technical writing and root cause investigation.
Ability to clearly process complex, multivariate situations resulting in the best operational outcome.
Must be able to understand and convey PAI's short and long term goals and objectives and guide operational personnel to successfully meeting those.
Ability to provide mentoring, coaching, counseling and disciplinary actions based on employee acountability standards and metrics.
