SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Former Employee), Malvern, PA 19355September 12, 2014
Pros: good pay, great managers, co-workers
Cons: as temp, no benefits at all!
Endo, Shire, Centocor - between 2001 and 2006. Was Sr. Admin. Asst. Positions were slated to become Temp to Hire, but none of them turned into Full Time positions. Great deal of upper management interaction via phone to set up dinner meetings numerous facilities in NJ, PA. Set up sales training onsite for new hires, staff development, researched information on academic papers, peer reviews for staff. – more... Compiled budgets, expense reports, made travel arrangements, typing, filing, set up new procedures. Heavy phone, email and in person interaction w/management and staff. Co-workers were very helpful, especially as new employee - showed me how company worked, trained on job and new skills necessary. Hardest part of the job was that it did not become full time permanent position. Most enjoyable part of job was learning new skills at each place I worked, built my experience in many areas. – less

Various Pharmaceuticals in Philadelphia area
SR ADMIN. ASST. @ VARIOUS PHARMA ORGANIZATIONS (Former Employee), Chadds Ford, ChesterbrookJuly 27, 2013
Pros: freedom to organize and interact with director and staff, ability to multi-task
Cons: constantly changing priorities from upper management made task completion challenging.
I worked for Endo, Centocor, and Shire Pharma on a temporary basis from 2001 through 2006. What promised to be Temp to Hire never materialized, budgeting issues always cited as the hindrance. I had a great position at Endo working for the Director of Personnel Training and his staff. It was a fun place to work, and although always working on deadlines, with priorities changing hour to hour, I thrived on the challenges, and worked well with entire team.
