This company is relatively new to the real estate game and has a lot of learning, growing and maturing to do. However, they feel like they know everything there is to know about commercial real estate. Vice presidents and upper management are a bunch of younger arrogant people that like to talk down to people. If you're expecting to look to them for guidance and knowledge, you will be greatly disappointed. Chances are you will have more experience than your boss and know more than them. I gave management 1 star only because there wasn't an option to put a negative score.
The one shining light of PECO is that they like to party. If you don't drink you're not going to fit in.
They like to create positions for people that they like but are not really thriving in their current position. So instead of terminating a bad employee, they create some BS position and keep them around.
The title was Regional Property Manager but your job is more administrative than anything. You're basically an admin assistant to the regional director. If you want to work for a great company and receive superior leadership along the way, you can skip Phillips Edison.
