About Phoenix Academy

Phoenix Academy has introduced the Preparation for IELTS General Module course.

Recently, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) introduced some new changes that are related to evidence of English language competency. The Temporary Business Visa (457) now requires employees to demonstrate an IELTS level of 4.5 before their 457 visas

For Graduates applying for the 497 Visa they will receive an extra 25 points towards Residency if they can demonstrate that they have achieved an IELTS level of 7.0.

The Preparation for IELTS General Module Course will dramatically improve the chances that test candidates have of achieving their desired IELTS goal. The course teaches you the IELTS test strategies and techniques. Knowing these strategies is a very important aspect of passing the test.

The Registrar is now accepting enrolments for the Preparation for IELTS General Module course.

Launch of New Website

Phoenix Academy has re-launched its website www.phoenixacademy.com.au. The new website aims to be more user-friendly and accessible than ever before.

Phoenix Academy is a registered training provider (RTO) located in Western Australian and has been providing quality education since 1989. The academy offers a diverse range of courses, including: English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS), University & High school bridging, Teacher Training, Work + Study and specialised Corporate Training. Courses are run from 2 campuses, West Perth and Perth Beach (Fremantle).

With a diverse international client-base, the Internet is especially important for keeping all staff, clients, and partners up-to-date with products, services, events and general information about the academy.

The new site includes a refurbished structure and design. Information about courses, fees and application forms are now easier to access. There is now more in-depth information about courses and other services offered by the Academy as well as additional features, such as an Online English Test to help user determine the courses that suit their needs.

Over the coming months Phoenix Academy will be working closely with key stakeholders to further enhance this site.

2007 Surf Club Carnival Photos

The Phoenix Surf Club carnival is an annual event held at one of Perth's prestigious beaches, City Beach.

The half-day event involves a few hundred people (students and teachers) competiting in a series of events ranging from; run-swim-run, flag races and beach volleyball. The day ends with an Aussie bbq dinner while watching the sunset over the ocean.
