As a midlevel they give you a huge patient load without help. They will tell you 20-30 patients/per day, but most clinics will see 50-60/day and there is usually on one provider. Most of the time the PCTs are brand new and do not know what they are doing. PIC also forgets to mention that half of what they see is occupational health, and some clinics see about 90%. Management is awful, always telling the staff one thing and going behind their backs and doing something else. They do not respect their employees, make them work 5-6 days a week and if you do not work these assigned days they write you up. Their were no parts of this job I liked, and speaking with other mid-levels they agree with everything I am saying. Nobody wants to work for them so they go out and find anyone to work for them regardless of their qualifications. Stan, CEO only cares about money, he could care less if his employees are happy. He owns so many businesses that he doesn't have time to manage PIC and lets unqualified managers run the show for him. After 2 years, only 5 cent raise, because it wasn't in the budget, which is garbage because everyone knows that PIC is one of the greediest companies in IL led by their CEO. Do not work for PIC, once you start everyone will tell you the same thing and you will want to quit in a month. Not even worth going to the interview.
