Physicians Toxicology is a specialized laboratory with state of the art equipment designed to meet the specific needs of monitoring patient compliance in the Pain Management and Addiction Medicine practice. Physicians treating patients suffering from chronic pain face several unique challenges, including those associated with medication management. Routine urine drug testing provides documentation to rule out illicit drug use or non-compliance with a prescribed drug regimen. Prospect for and establish new accounts in Dayton, OH and surrounding area (approx. 150 mile radius)
Service existing accounts, assist with client issues regarding services and supply orders
Develop a specialized knowledge of products and services specific to target markets for PTL services
Develop a complete understanding of laboratory testing, Point of Collection devices and alternative testing methods
Perform tasks that directly relate to the business development plan and essential sales goals and objectives
Interact with laboratory, technical and customer relations personnel on sales and service issues
Work with management on sales and marketing campaigns
Keep management informed by submitting regular activity and results reports, such as call reports, work plans, and routine territory analyses.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on sales tactics, products, new product offering, sales techniques, etc.
Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments, working in a culture of continuous improvement
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and attending professional tradeshows as requested
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years previous successful sales experience
Preferred experience in the laboratory testing, toxicology or pain management market
Driven, goal-oriented, persistent, problem solving sales professional
