Looking to fill the position of General Manager for Pi Craft. This is an exciting new fast, casual restaurant concept.
The General Manager sets and achieves the highest standards in all areas of the restaurant including the employee experience, the customer experience, and financial results, and is accountable for all three of these facets. He/She oversees training and development of restaurant employees and effectively addresses the needs of the customer and staff. This position requires the candidate to be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and resolved in a timely manner.
Leading the restaurant team in successful daily operations. Meeting the company standards and goals that are set forth.
Properly training and developing a team through orientations, development discussions, performance evaluations, and recognition. Coaching and counseling employees on a timely basis; making decisions on promotions and terminations of employees, and taking the appropriate action when problems arise.
Identifying talent, interviewing, and training new team members. Fostering a teamwork first attitude. Successfully communicating company goals to the team, and making sure that the team achieves those goals.
Building sales and community relationships, managing the restaurant budgets and forecasts. Compiling, preparing, and maintaining P&L statements, budgets, and cost controls with regard to food, beverage, and labor goals. Performing required administrative duties on time, including processing require paperwork. Ensuring the safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to, and that employees are trained in appropriate responses to unsafe conditions.
Candidates will possess the following:
- Be able to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personal and the community.
- Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees
- Possess exceptional customer service skills
- Have the ability to adapt and succeed in a fast past paced environment
- Have previous restaurant management experience.
- Have an A.A. or B.A./B.S. in a related field
- Have own transportation.
- Be able to pass Drug Testing
- Be proficient in the use of PC's
