Not enough resouces and no procedures
Do not wish to provide (Current Employee) –  Santa Clara, CAJanuary 22, 2014
There is no work/life balance everyone runs around trying to get things done with no procedures in place creates a chaotic atmosphere. Certain people think can dictate how processes should be without detail knowledge to make the correct process decisions. Management is a mess! So many projects started but unfinished due to lack of resources, no "buy in" or employee turnover. Career going nowhere here.

RMA System Test Technician (Former Employee) –  Santa Clara, CANovember 13, 2013
My co-workers are hard workers.
The management is pretty poor: struggling to find resources for your work is a normal thing on the floor.
You need to be able to carry heavy weights of 50+ up because the products are spectroscopy systems made out of many hard ware components.

Nice big building with great people to work with everyday
Finance (Former Employee) –  Santa Clara, CAAugust 29, 2013
A typical day at wotk would be getting a cup of coffee and then going to my desk to check emails, voicemails and reply if necessary. Go thru daily mail and process my usual AP. AR, Billing work load.
At this company I learned how to invoice customers and process Accounts Receivable.
My supervisor was the best and was always a great team player.
The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to learn new skills hands on and working with nice, cool people

Disruptive technology. Smart, innovative and dedicated employees. Failing management. Autocratic CEO
Sales exec (Current Employee) –  Santa CalraDecember 8, 2012
Pros – Transformational and disruptive technology changing the way research scientists and gas utility companies are making measurements of green house gases, stable isotopes and natural gas pipeline fugitive emissions. Smart, innovative and dedicated employees. Lots of camaraderie among the hard working employees.

Cons – Executive team is weak, has a severe lack of focus and act as cheer leaders for the CEO. They live in an ivory tower while the employees slave away to ship quality products out the door that pay the bills. CEO fails to set an achievable sales target that the company keeps missing and has temper and rage issues bordering abuse with no consideration to work-life balance or employees family commitments. Basically, all what matters is the bottom line to impress the board of directors. The work environment has lots of undue tension in the air, usually dictated by the CEO moodiness. Besides, none of the execs has a genuine commitment to advance the career development path of the hardworking employees. Stock option value is so diluted with no annual bonus payment for 2 yrs straight.and no salary increase or even inflation adjustments.

Advice to Senior Management – The hardworking employees in the huddle are the real achievers and the main asset for Picarro . You should show appreciation for the smart team of engineers, scientists and technicians who are devoted to make Picarro successful and excel in building a shiny image of the company. Create an enjoyable work environment instead of the current tense and intimidating one.

terrible management and tyrant ceo
