We are looking for an experienced Senior eCommerce Implementation Engineer for a full-time position in our San Francisco office. Under general direction from one of our Application Architects, this individual will work closely with fellow team members to rapidly build and deploy large online eCommerce solutions. For small projects, this individual must be comfortable managing the majority of the project through its lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
-Manage complex, web‐based technology projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from project definition through implementation.
-Assist with the functional documentation of customer business requirements.
-Translate business requirements into a technical solution.
-Configure and script software application based on technical design solution.
-Work closely with project manager to identify in a proactive manner any potential issues and risks.
-Coach and mentor customers and junior team members.
-At a minimum, four years of related experience.
-BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a reputable four-year university.
-Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
-The ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies and convert them into customer solutions.
-Direct customer facing and implementation delivery experience in a Consulting or Professional Services organization.
-Experience with web technologies, application servers, portal servers, middleware, eCommerce, enterprise application integration, databases, security, performance & scalability.
-Desire to work in a fast paced, growing and deadline driven environment.
-Complete understanding of the full product development lifecycle (design, development and testing).
-Strong collaboration skills, ability to mentor and be mentored.
-Ability to meet client travel requirements (up to 20%).
