I loved working for Pioneer until they made major changes in leadership in 2016. Most of the brands that built the company have since moved to larger distributors leaving sales reps at pioneer having to completely start over with all of their accounts. The operations at the company is a total mess, many orders are pulled or delivered incorrectly, if at all. The employees rate of pay is always in question because upper management changes the commission rate on various products without disclosing the changes to employees. They do not reimburse for phone and the car allowance is a joke, and sales reps have little to no expenses to use for work items (including parking or printer ink!) Management is a mess; once changes in leadership went into effect in spring 2016 there was no one around to go to with questions or advice. Its not a terrible place to work if you are ok with not having a support system behind you.
