Oversee digital media planning for large, multifaceted clients - developing strategies, media planning and buying, directing team and department projects, reporting & analysis, media optimization, media financials, recommending and introducing new methods/applications to apply towards goals, leading in flawless execution and ensuring that the team delivers against client objectives, stays on strategy, on budget and on schedule.

To apply, you must have:
8+ years digital media experience at a large national agency
Direct experience managing at least $20 million media budgets
Experience managing a large team
Proven track record of pitching and winning new agency accounts
4 year college degree in related field

Responsibilities include:

Lead forward thinking digital ideas for client, ensuring team is incorporating creativity and innovation into media plan development across all tactics including PPC, display, affiliate, email, mobile, social, etc.

Lead agency strategy and efforts in programmatic buying / real time bidding

Ensure initiatives are executed and managed in a manner that meets and exceeds expectations and delivers against client objectives

Manage all projects to ensure the highest level of quality assurance

Participate in account team planning sessions regarding client strategy and approach, providing leadership, consultation and acting as a voice for media

Steward client interest in the areas of tracking and delivering measurable results and analytics, market knowledge, and audience insights

Establish and grow relationships with senior media clients, as well as be a key agency contact and expert media resource for clients across other disciplines/departments

Collaborate with other brand agency leads to deliver unified cross-platform strategies, ideas, and advocating digital media

Play a leadership role in agency new business pitches

Collaborate with agency cross functional teams to deliver cohesive business solutions and strategies

Stays apprised of new technologies and trends and a keen understanding of digital landscape to incorporate into media driven solutions and business building ideas

Manage and oversee monthly and end of campaign client billing, digital media budget reconciliations

Manage and mentor a team of 20+ talented digital media professionals

Provide leadership/motivation and convey the vision and values of the agency to media staff

Assure that the media staff adheres to established agency policies/procedures

Critique, conducts reviews, performance evaluation of media team to ensure that effective, efficient and profitable staff operations are maintained; working closely with Associate Media Directors to provide mentorship and guidance to the team

Manage workflow, efficient and profitable servicing of client(s), staffing levels, fosters healthy team structure, team assignments

Keep other agency departments informed about the media work produced for clients and best practices

Maintain excellent external professional relationships with media publishers and partners

Other responsibilities as assigned
