About Pixar Animation Studios
Pixar, incorporated on December 9, 1985, is a digital animation studio with the creative, technical and production capabilities to create animated feature films and related products. Pixar's films are distributed to television markets through out the world. As of December 31, 2005, the Company had created and produced six full-length, computer-animated – more... feature films, which were marketed and distributed by The Walt Disney Company (Disney). On January 24, 2006, the Company entered into an agreement and plan of merger with Disney, by which Disney has agreed to acquire Pixar.
