Productive fun place like Pizza Hut
Team Member (Former Employee), Florence, SCNovember 30, 2014
Pros: working
Cons: wants to work more
I am a very hardworking, outgoing team member and a cashier. My job being a friendly welcoming cashier including me taking orders by phone on the Pizza Hut computer system. My job also included me being very generous greeting every customer with positive energy and my full dived attention. Also making sure every customer was completely satisfied .My – more... job also included me doing extra work like pre-paring pan pizza’s which I love. Also to work at a very fast pace and stay busy.Im a very outgoing friendly worker and very motivated. I absolutely love my job and working. My manger Justin Bernstein was very inspiring and he knew he could count on me.Justin Bernstein didn’t have to tell me the orders I already knew what to do.My typical day started at eight to five or five to nine,it was all about work to our team.I worked at front desk with two other girls we probably got like twenty orders a day. The two others girls were all about work too. When I got a order I was at the front desk I answered the phone very friendly and outgoing. Then I would go in our Pizza Hut system type in the field which they wanted like pizzas, pan pizza’s, desserts or breadstick or cinnamon sticks then I would type in there order. Then I would type in the payment and ring it up and then give the receipt to the driver. If I wasn’t ringing up orders and the front desk I would be in the back pre-paring food by myself but mostly I was at the front desk. My favorite part of the job is working I love to work. The worst part was getting laid off it was just the time then two other people got laid off too. I enjoyed working I learned so much so many reward’s really look forward to working with you. – less

Awesome place to work everyday! Preparing delicious pizza, bread sticks and sweets with immediate service for amazing customers! The management is wonderful, as well as the co-workers. Hardest part of the job is walking out the door, because all you want to do is stay, the best part is knowing your coming back tomorrow!

Long shifts, minimal pay
Manager (Current Employee), Kent, WANovember 24, 2014
Cons: no breaks, no benefits, no pay raise.
Environment can be fun and energetic at times but mostly very stressful. Continuously understaffed with a high turnover rate because employees are not willing to work hard or comply with company policies. Management above RGM level tends to fail with communication which puts everyone in the store level feeling lost and confused when changes occur.
I – more... have become self sufficient. I no longer need much direction from above management and I easily get respect from all employees. Employees are always willing to listen and help where I see fit. My coworkers are family to me, we enjoy being in the presence of one another and because of it work harder.
No benefits or pay raises. – less

Waiter (Former Employee), Vandalia, MONovember 24, 2014
Pros: food, customers
Cons: no cons
Typical day at work was dealing with plenty of interesting customers that could be rude and couldnt be rude. It was just a throw up about what was going to happen that day. The hardest part of the job was keeping my tongue shut when a customer would yell at me or something crazy like that.

Decent Workplace
Dishwasher/Prep Cook (Former Employee), Cockeysville, MDNovember 22, 2014
Pros: discount on products
Cons: short breaks
My typical day at work would be coming in at 5 o clock and clocking in. After I clock in would head straight to the back to wash the dishes until 8 o'clock which was my break time. It would be time for me to clock back in at 8:30. I would clean the dishes and put them away at 11:30 because we would close at 12 a.m. For the remaining time i would sweep – more... and mop my area. What i learned at that was how to make pizzas and i learned the functions of a restaurant. My co- workers were very nice people to be around and we always had fun being together on the shift.. Everyone helped each other out and there was no frustration. The hardest part of the job was rush hour, when the restaurant was packed sometimes we would run out of products and that would just make it stressful but fortunately we always found a way to make it through. The most enjoyable part of the job was serving a table because i got to meet new people and also i got a good tip from my customer service. – less

Pros: employee meals/discount
Cons: n/a
A typical work day started mainly off with food preparation to open the store. Then Preparing each food item for the customer on demand while also continuously prepping food for next rush. The end of a normal shift would consist of nightly cleanup or helping next shift worker merge into shift. The hardest but most enjoyable part of a shift would be the – more... customer satisfaction. – less

Pros: working with others
Cons: late nights
Typical work day involves dealing with customers on all levels. Increased my communication skills as well as verbal. Management is superior and the co workers are very friendly. Hardest part of job is wasting your time when customer is home to receive product. Most enjoyable part is that you maximize your money depending on your attitude.
