Pros: cash in hand everyday
Cons: pay, too many slow days
Working at pizza hut was fine. Nothing more and nothing less. Usually the place was slow accept for weekends. As a server I didnt get much tips working there. I learned how to be a better server. Management was horrible. Never had the correct schedule, changed without acknowledgment, constantly fought for more hours. the hardest part of my job was not – more... getting paid enough, The most enjoyable part is when I was serving customers. – less

Shift Manager/Waitress/Cook (Former Employee), Durant, OKAugust 13, 2014
Pros: enviroment, flexible hours and work schedule.
Cons: job title promotion with no pay increase.
I most definitely enjoyed my time working at Pizza Hut. I was hired as a waitress at first making tips on a nightly basis. Although being a waitress, with tip pay, meant that we got paid less than the other workers. In order to pay the bills, I asked to be switched into the kitchen, where the hourly pay was nearly $4 more than a waitress. My manager – more... scheduled me between those two shifts. I was cook four days of the week that I worked and on the fifth day, every Friday night, I was a waitress. I excelled in everything that I was taught. Before my year mark, I could do every job in the restaurant. Anywhere from seating customers to making orders and even opening and closing the restaurant. I was 'promoted' to a shift manager where I had the duties but not the pay. After a year and half working there, I was still making $7.25 hourly. I had to leave there for a higher paying job. – less

I loved it here. If it wasnt for my car messing up. I would still have this job as a part time. Folding boxes and washing dishes was what i did what i had no delivery to make. Awesome experience

A typical day at pizza hut would be hot and greasy. Pizzas coming out of the oven, phone ringing, and customers walking in.

Cook, Delivery Driver & Server (Current Employee), Waterloo, ILAugust 12, 2014
Pros: fun, good learning experience
Cons: short breaks, drama
Everything was well run, I learned customer service, how to work under pressure. Co workers had a lot of drama stir up. Managers are either too relaxed or very strict.

This is a good job for college students to make more than 7.25
Delivery Driver (Current Employee), Fort Oglethorpe, GAAugust 12, 2014
Pros: you get to ride around in your car and listen to music.
Cons: pay for your own gas, low pay, alot of people will not tip.
Pay depends on the customers if you don't get tips you loose money. You realize how generous people are. Its a lot of wear and tear on your vehicle, and They do not pay for your gas.

Server/Production (Former Employee), Taylor, AZAugust 12, 2014
A typical day at work consisted of ensuring the customers an excellent dine-in or carryout experience.
I learned how to properly wait tables in a swift and efficient manner along with full customer service satisfaction.
Management, overall, was fantastic. There was a few bumps along the way, but there was always good and fair leadership.
The co-workers – more... were amazing to say the least. Not a single team member was an outcast, and everyone was willing to help at anytime.
The job was fairly easy and did not have many difficulties.
The most enjoyable job was seeing the dining room full of euphoric customers. – less

Cook (Former Employee), Green Bay, WIAugust 11, 2014
Pros: free meal daily, ample work breaks
Cons: poor management, understaffed
Overall, I enjoyed my job until I experienced the loss of my mother. The management at Pizza Hut was not understanding about my situation with losing my mother. They did not provide me with the time off I needed in my time of need. Losing my mother was the hardest thing I ever had to go through, I just wish they would of been more understanding.

Worst job
Team Member (Former Employee), Quinlan, TxAugust 11, 2014
Cons: poor management
Management often became angry with co-workers for little reason resulting in being yelled at, were lazy, and weren't dependable when most needed for help as a new employee. Pay wasn't good either.

Waitress/Hostess (Former Employee), Herkimer, NYAugust 11, 2014
Pros: good hours
Cons: not enough pay
A typical day at Pizza Hut was very fun. I loved this job. This is the job where I learned all you need to know about customer service. The managers are nice and always try to help you out. The co-workers become like family at Pizza Hut. The hardest part about the job is making sure every food item comes out to customer satisfaction when we were extremly – more... busy inside the resturant and for deliveries. The most enjoyable part of the job was the reocurring customers and the peopple I worked with. – less
